Children
Play therapists use play to help children cope with difficult emotions when they do not have the verbal language and/or cognitive understanding to express their thoughts and feelings. Play therapy offers a child a safe place to play out rather than talk out his/her thoughts, feelings and problems. New Beginnings therapists treat children ages 3-12 years with Play Therapy.

Adolescent
Adolescence is the developmental stage between childhood and adulthood, generally spanning from ages 10 to 18. It is a time of significant physical, psychological, and social changes. In terms of psychological development, adolescents experience significant cognitive, emotional, and social changes. They develop their identity, sense of self, and establish their beliefs and values. They also begin to develop their own personality and become more independent from their parents. This period is also characterized by rapid physical growth and changes in body composition.
